D&R Affordable Living provides confidential, secure accommodation across Nottingham for women and men escaping domestic abuse — a place to breathe, recover and begin rebuilding on your own terms.
Property addresses are never disclosed to third parties. Placements are handled discreetly and, where risk requires it, outside the immediate local area.
Every resident has their own lockable private bedroom. Shared kitchen and bathroom facilities are maintained to a high standard, with all utilities included.
Weekly one-to-one sessions focused on practical recovery — safety planning, benefits, legal signposting, and steps towards long-term independent housing.
We work alongside IDVAs, refuge services, mental health teams and legal advocates, referring residents to specialist support wherever it is needed.
Where a placement is urgent, we move quickly. Referrals from councils, police, refuges and support charities can often be housed within days.
The goal is always onward movement. Support plans are built around securing settled accommodation and restoring independence.
Referrals accepted from local authorities, refuge services, domestic abuse charities, police, probation and health services. Self-referrals are also considered.
